Where: Tom Sheas Restaurant, Essex

Old Cold Tater prepares for the Roots Cellar in what is the seasons final Thursday night's harvest playing several acoustic genres, including Fiddle Music, Bluegrass, Swing, Celtic and sharing "Banjo and Mandolin Jokes" creating an evening of entertainment in the restaurant's recently acoustically refurbished dining room. Dame Lynn d'Ameraux (vocals) invites you to a freaky evening of "vampy" jazz accompanied by two of Eastern Europe's most illustrious vamps — Count Stevenson Von Heck on harpsichord (piano) and theremin, and Baron Bronsilaw Suchaneck on viola (double bass). Fish attack

Who: Garfish

Where: Elliott's at the Blackburn, Gloucester

When: 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.

Garfish will be rocking Elliott's Halloween night, performing classic rock from Queen to Jethro Tull to Chicago to the Beatles and more. Prizes will be awarded for the top three costumes.

Do you have soul?

Who: Soul Force V

Where: Dog Bar, Gloucester

When: 9 to 12 p.m.

SFV plays Latin, Jazz and Soul music. The band takes standard tunes in all styles of music and creates their own unique arrangements.¬ The sets consist of a combination of instrumental and vocal songs featuring the very talented Kimberly Mantz. The band features Henley Douglas Jr. on sax, Jeffrey Buckridge on guitar, Dave Walker on bass, and John Ilitis on drums.

Halloween Party with Mike King

Who: Michael King and his electronics

Dangerous 80s Halloween Ball

Lead singers Ann Marie, Kascia Murray, Guy Fiero and Brian King bring new life and a Halloween twist to everything from the Bangles to the Pretenders, Cindi Lauper to David Bowie, Talking Heads to the rarely covered neo-soul group, Soul II Soul. Celtic Music Session
