SeniorCare serves the following lunch menu this week to seniors 60 and older:

Wednesday, Nov. 4 — Minestrone soup, sauteed pork picatta, Lyonnaise potato, fresh fruit

Thursday, Nov. 5 — London broil, whip potato, fresh carrots, chocolate chip cookies

Friday, Nov. 6 — Chicken Parmesan, buttered pasta, fresh broccoli, apple sauce

Monday, Nov. 9 — Chicken jardiniere, roast potato, vegetable medley, fresh apple

Tuesday, Nov. 10 — Split pea soup, veal scallopini, minted whipped potato, mousse with topping

Skim milk and controlled-sugar dessert available. Meals are served at:

Rose Baker Senior Center: 978-281-0081

McPherson Park: 978-283-3141

Sheedy Park: 978-281-5128

Rockport High Apartments: 978-546-7061

Lunch is served Monday to Friday at 11:30 a.m. Reservations are required and a donation of $2 is requested.

Holy Family Women's Guild show goes down the aisles of history

The Women's Guild of Holy Family Parish held a "Romance"- themed event this week at St. Ann Church in Gloucester.
Guild members displayed three generations of wedding dresses as well as wedding photos and albums, cake toppers, bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses, and other memorabilia.
