Poets Corner: No More Pain

No more pain, no more tears,

no more tomorrows you have to fear.

No more tomorrows without your smile,

tomorrows without you will be hard to bear.

Your suffering, your heartaches,

have been sadden to see,

but no longer will they be.

No longer will your time be spent together,

laughing and joking with your friends.

Our broken hearts,

that are bleeding with tears,

will take a long time to be repaired.

Tomorrow will come and life goes on

but your tomorrows are forever gone.

The memories of you will linger on

in our thoughts, hearts and lives

Goodbye — so long for now.
