My name is Stedman and I am hoping you would like to meet me. I am a handsome ten-month-old Lab mix male pup. I am affectionate, I love people, taking walks, playing and wrestling with my best pal Harry who is also available for adoption at the Cape Ann Animal Aid (CAAA) in Gloucester.

I am hoping I will be adopted in time so that my new family will take me to see Santa Paws. Santa Paws will be at the Good Dog! Gallery, 36 Bearskin Neck in Rockport on Sat., Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sun., Dec. 6 from noon to 2 p.m. You may have your dog's photo taken with Santa! The cost is $10, which will benefit the CAAA! If you need information or directions, please call 978-546-1364. I have to run now and write out my list for Santa!

Holy Family Women's Guild show goes down the aisles of history

The Women's Guild of Holy Family Parish held a "Romance"- themed event this week at St. Ann Church in Gloucester.
Guild members displayed three generations of wedding dresses as well as wedding photos and albums, cake toppers, bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses, and other memorabilia.
