While action heats up this weekend on the real — and newly rebuilt — Greasy Pole off Pavilion Beach, the musical tribute to one of the St. Peter's Fiesta's iconic events will play out on a stage a block from St. Peter's Square.
"Greasy Pole: The Musical" is again being performed at The Cape Ann theater, known as The Annie, through July 15 with shows on Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Suggested donation is $20, $15 for students and seniors.

Some shows sell out. The theater is located at One Washington St. in the Blackburn Building.
'Garden' finale at Gloucester Stage
Meanwhile, across town in East Gloucester, Gloucester Stage's production of "Round and Round the Garden" closes Sunday, with shows tonight, Friday, and Saturday as well.
The ensemble cast is led by Academy Award-nominee Lindsay Crouse, Steven Barkhimer, whose credits include a role in the 2011 film "The Fighter," and Sarah Newhouse, whose background includes a stint on "Saturday Night Live."
The show, part of the acclaimed Alan Ayckbourn trilogy "The Norman Conquests," is both funny and poignant and set in the during a reunion of dysfunctional siblings and their spouses.

Museum seeks Dogtown photos
The Cape Ann Museum is looking for photos of Dogtown.
The museum has installed a photo loop of generations of people enjoying Dogtown, on display in conjunction with its exhibition "Marsden Hartley: Soliloquy in Dogtown," which runs through Oct. 14.
To have your photos included in the slide show, just drop them off at the museum at 27 Pleasant St. in Gloucester, with any information on them that you would like to include, and your address and contact information. The museum will copy the photos and return them.
Rocky Neck art opening
Acrylic paintings by New Hampshire artist Deborah Lloyd Kaufman will be on display at the second exhibition in the Summer Artist Series at the Rocky Neck Gallery, at 53 Rocky Neck Ave. in Gloucester, with a public reception with the artist set for Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
An art educator in the Keene, N.H., public schools for more than 24 years, as well as an adjunct faculty member at Keene State College and Antioch-New England, Kaufman has exhibited throughout New Hampshire's Monadnock region.
Her work includes linocuts, ceramic tiles, canvas floorcloths and acrylic paintings.

Summer youth acting workshops
Gloucester Stage Company is holding its summer session of its youth acting workshops, which begin on July 6.
The workshops are designed to expose young people to professional theatre, and help them discover their creative potential.
The six-week acting program for children ages 6 to 18 is taught by Gloucester native and award winning actress Heidi Dallin on Fridays from July 6 to Aug. 10. The session includes special guest teaching collaborations with North Shore 104.9 FM Radio; Cape Ann TV; a puppet master, and Gloucester Stage professionals, including its artistic director Eric Engel who will teach a teen audition prep workshop.
All classes are held at Gloucester Stage at 267 East Main St. in Gloucester.
