Linda Amero’s Menage a Trio, 7 to 10 p.m., Downstairs @ Franklin Cafe, 118 Main St., Gloucester. Steve Heck on piano and Thomas Hebb on upright bass join vocalist Amero for jazz standards.

Celtic Music Session, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dog Bar, 65 Main St., Gloucester. In the style of an Irish house or pub “seisiun,” Michael O’Leary, Steve Levy, Linda Swicker and David de la Barre host an acoustic session of mostly traditional songs and tunes from the Celtic countries.
