The Cape Ann Emergency Planning Team is hosting a number of free flu clinics this year open to local residents.
The first clinics were held earlier this week in Gloucester and Rockport. Seven more clinics are planned.
Those wishing to be vaccinated should remember to bring an insurance card (if you have one) and wear a short-sleeve shirt.
All public clinics are open to anyone over 6 months of age.
Anyone with questions may contact their local board of health, or Gloucester public health nurse

Other clinics will be held:
Sept. 26: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Gloucester City Hall, 9 Dale Ave.
Oct. 4: 8 to 11 a.m., Addison Gilbert Hospital, 298 Washington St., Gloucester
Oct. 10: 1 to 3 p.m., Methodist Church, 36 Broadway, Rockport.
Oct. 11: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., NOAA, 55 Great Republic Drive, Blackburn Industrial Park, Gloucester.
Oct. 18: 3 to 6 p.m., BankGloucester, 160 Main St., Gloucester.
Oct. 20: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., during Essex Clamfest, Memorial Fire Station, 24 Martin St., Essex.
Nov. 6 (Election Day): 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Essex Senior Center, Pickering Street, Essex.
