A story yesterday in the Times about a grant to the Maritime Heritage Center mischaracterized work being done at the center on the former fishing vessel Vincie N. The vessel is being refurbished to represent the Eleanor, one of the East India Co. ships boarded by patriots in the Boston Tea Party of 1773. The work is being paid for by Historic Tours of America, not the center. The Beaver, a representation of another Tea Party ship, is also at the center. Both the Eleanor and the Beaver will be docked at the Tea Party Museum in Boston after it reopens.
