---- — MANCHESTER — An Old Essex Road resident called police to report door-to-door salespeople as seeming “suspicious.”

Police located the window salespeople and advised them of the town policies for door-to-door sales, and the salespeople left town Wednesday about 12:42 p.m.

Anyone selling door-to-door, by town protocol, are urged to check in with police before attempting to make sales in Manchester, police said.

Police notified Massachusetts Highway Division of a tree limb hanging over the roadway on Bridge Street, after a resident reported the low-hanging limb to police Thursday about 7:53 a.m.
