Extended marine forecast for Cape Ann

Coastal waters from the Merrimack River, out 25 nautical miles, to Plymouth, out 40 nautical miles, including the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

Today, west winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Tonight, west winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Tomorrow, southwest winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming south in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Tomorrow night, southwest winds around 10 knots, becoming west after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Monday, southwest winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming south in the afternoon. Seas around 2 feet.

Monday night, southwest winds around 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Tuesday, winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming southwest until late evening, then becoming west after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet. A chance of showers.

Wednesday, northwest winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming southwest in the late afternoon and overnight. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Winds and seas higher in and near thunderstorms.
