Family safety program offered

Wellspring Cape Ann Families is offering a family safety and education night for parents and children this month.

The program, "When You're Home and On Your Own," geared to children ages 10 to 14, will be held Tuesday, July 21, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at 28 Emerson Ave.

Wellspring says if you are a parent thinking about or starting to leave your children home alone, even for short periods of time, this free program is for you. A pizza dinner and child care for children ages 9 and younger will be provided. Transportation assistance is available.

Door prizes include Red Sox tickets, Gloucester Cinema tickets, a Lobsta Land gift certificate and an Underwood Photography family portrait package.

Registration is required; call 978-281-7856 or e-mail abaylies@wellspringhouse.org by July 17 with the number of adults and children for dinner and, or child care.
