MANCHESTER — Police said an old military training bomb was detonated at the transfer station on Pine Street Monday around 12:47 p.m.

Police responded to a report of military ordnance found in a Summer Street, and Massachusetts State Police and the state police bomb squad were called to the scene.

Manchester police said the device was a training bomb that a family member had found in the home of a deceased relative.

Police said a resident of Running Ridge Road called to report seeing a coyote multiple times in their back yard just after 9 a.m. Monday.
