Rockport Police/Fire: Truck downs Dock Square wires

Rockport Police/Fire

ROCKPORT — A passing truck pulled wires down into Dock Square on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

Police notified Comcast and Verizon, which dispatched crews to fix the problem.

More wires were reported down on Summer Street, with police notifying Verizon of that issue as well.

Transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester:

On Thursday, a man from Bradley Wharf at 2 p.m., a Millbrook Park woman at 6:18 p.m. and a Green Street man at 11 p.m.

On Friday, a woman from Main Street at 10:30 a.m.
