ROCKPORT — These municipal meetings, open to the public, are scheduled this week in town:


North Shore-Cape Ann Emergency Preparedness Coalition, 8:15 to 9:30 a.m., Beverly Council on Aging, 90 Colon St. Beverly. Budget and finance reports, election of officers, best practices, upcoming meetings.

Finance Committee, 7 p.m., Rockport Public Library, Brenner Friends Room. OK Finance Committee requests and reports, department liaisons, new business and meeting schedules.

Rights of Way Committee, 7 p.m., Town Hall, conference room A. Reeds Lane Atlantic Path, Hillside Road, signs, Cape Ann Tool Co., new leadership, overseers’ reports.


Council on Aging, 6 p.m., Rockport Community House, downstairs conference room. New programs, finances, time study results, Boston Cane recipient, logo, Duck Race plans, reappointment of Michelle Talisman and Christine Marek for 3-year terms.


North Shore-Cape Ann Emergency Preparedness Coalition, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Peabody DPW Building, 50 Farm Ave., Peabody. Best practices, proposed budget for 2013-’14, community concerns.

Board of Fire Engineers, 6:30 p.m., Central Fire Station meeting room, 37 Broadway. Old, new business; captains’ meeting; department benefits.

Millbrook Meadow Committee, 7 p.m., Rockport Public Library, Trustees Room. Restoration and knotweed updates, nonprofit application, fundraising plans, logo development, dam opening ceremony plans, Motif No. 1 Day and cleanup review, meadow event schedule.


Thacher Island Association and Thacher and Straitsmouth Islands Town Committee, 7:30 p.m., Rockport Police Station. Finances, Thacher and Straitsmouth work projects, keeper schedule.
