MANCHESTER — A vehicle on Butler Avenue was broken into around 8:32 a.m. Tuesday.
According to police reports, the intruder made off with an iPod, and the car was left in disarray.
Police said they were not certain whether the car was locked.

A principal's surprise
Goodwin gets a standing ovation from the entire school population during the surprise party at Newell Stadium.
Gloucester High School Principal William Goodwin, who had, unknown to school's students, unexpectedly left building around midday Thursday, was told he had to come back to address an unknown "emergency." And when he arrived, seeing the students outside the building led him to believe there had been an evacuation.

Wellspring House of Gloucester held its 14th Annual Women Honoring Women Luncheon earlier this month with over 670 in attendance.
