ESSEX — Police responded to a Belcher Street burglar alarm Wednesday about 3:29 p.m.
But responding officers found everything at the residence to be secure.
Police said officers received a report of a suspicious motor vehicle in the same area about 4:45 p.m.
An officer found the reported vehicle, stopped the driver for a marked lanes infraction and issued a verbal warning, according to police. But there were no other charges filed.
Police said a Western Avenue resident reported Thursday morning that someone had cracked eggs on the windshield of the resident’s vehicle overnight Wednesday.
