Rockport Police/Fire: Man reports Summit Avenue theft

ROCKPORT — Town police said a Summit Avenue resident reported someone had broken into his unlocked vehicle that was parked on the street and stolen items including a phone charger, sunglasses and keys.

The theft was reported Saturday at about 5:20 p.m, according to police.

Police said officers told a contractor working on Railroad Avenue to quiet down Saturday after a resident called police to complain about the noise Saturday about 6:52 a.m.

Firefighters checked a faulty water heater at a King Street residence Saturday about 9:34 a.m., but addressed the issue without incident, according to police.

Firefighters also checked an electrical issue at a Thatcher Road residence Saturday about 1:21 a.m., and responded to a carbon monoxide detector’s signal at a Prospect Street house, but determined the alarm to be faulty after it sounded Sunday about 11:57 p.m.

A Millbrook Park woman was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital Saturday about 8:58 p.m., according to police.

A Gott Street woman was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital Friday about 3:47 p.m., according to police, while a Landmark Lane man was also transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital Saturday about 7 p.m., according to police.
