Essex Police/Fire: Vehicle abandoned on Conomo Point

ESSEX — Police received a call about a person abandoning a motor vehicle on Conomo Point Road on Tuesday at 2:48 p.m.

Officers said the matter is under investigation.

Police responded to a burglar alarm at 9:29 p.m. Monday at the First National Bank of Ipswich on Martin Street. Officers, however, found the building was secure.

Officers received a 911 call reporting a horse rolling around in a pasture on John Wise Avenue on Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. The caller was worried about the horse's health. Police found the animal to be in good condition.
