Essex Police/Fire: Conomo resident reports voter intimidation

ESSEX — Police are investigating allegations of voter intimidation on Conomo Point.

A person came into the station at 6:45 p.m. Monday to report that someone was "going too far" in investigating the eligibility of Conomo Point residents, police said.

Police did not release any specifics regarding the alleged intimidation.

Two large tree limbs were reported in the road on Eastern Avenue at 5:51 a.m. Tuesday. The Department of Public Works was notified and one of its crews cleared the roadway.
