Essex Police/Fire: Business quiet despite complaint

ESSEX — A noise complaint was filed at 1:52 a.m. Monday against a Western Avenue business.

Officers drove to the area, but reported that they heard no noise, and left the area after five minutes.

A caller reported a possibly stolen car parked on Centennial Grove Road at 6:08 p.m. Monday.

Police, however, and found discovered that the car was not stolen and nothing was amiss.

A sign on Conomo Point was reportedly turned around at 8:21 p.m. Monday. The officer who responded flipped the sign back to its proper position.
