Rockport Police Fire: Car accident sends one to Beverly Hospital

ROCKPORT — A two-car accident on Granite Street on Saturday around 3 p.m. led to one motorist being transported to Beverly Hospital.

Police said both vehicles had to be towed from the area.

Saturday at 10:20 a.m., police received a report of a power outage along Granite Street. Police did not know how many residents were affected, but National Grid was notified, as of Monday there were no outages in the area.

Also, at noon on Saturday, police performed a well being check on a Jerdens Lane resident, but police found the resident to be OK.
