ROCKPORT — A Marshfield man was arrested at a town hotel after it was discovered he had three outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Police arrested Brandon Gibbs, 26, of Marshfield at 8:58 a.m. Monday at the Rockport Inn and Suites. No specific information on the nature of the warrants was available.
Police and rescue squads responded to five medical emergencies throughout the weekend and one on Monday morning, all resulting in transport to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.
The first was at 6:53 a.m. Saturday, summoning emergency services to Mill Brook Park after a female reported not feeling well.
At 6:55 p.m. Saturday, police and the rescue squad responded to Railroad Avenue on a report of a female not feeling well.
There were three medical emergency calls Sunday. The first was at 5:45 a.m. at Mill Brook Park to assist a female not feeling well and the second was at 2:46 p.m., to assist a female on Clark Avenue. The last of the day was at 9:20 p.m. on Stockholm Avenue, again to assist a female not feeling well.
Police and the rescue squad responded to a medical emergency call at 2:25 a.m. Monday to assist a female on upper Main Street.
Fire personnel responded to a call at the Sandy Bay Service Station on upper Main Street at 9:26 a.m. Saturday and helped extinguish a minor fire in an excavator at the side of the service station, police said.
