Manchester Police/Fire

MANCHESTER -- Manchester police are urging residents to lock their cars, after police received a series of reports of items stolen from unlocked vehicles Thursday and Friday.

An iPod, a roll of quarters, gift cards and clothing were reportedly taken from vehicles on Harbor Street, Tucks Point Road and Norton’s Point Road between 10 a.m. Thursday and 12:45 p.m. Friday, according to police.

Police said they also received five reports of items stolen from cars. One of the five called police to report that a bag had been taken from her car, then thrown on the road beside the vehicle.
