Essex Police/Fire: Ipswich woman faces Essex license charge

ESSEX — Essex police Thursday issued a civil citation to an Ipswich woman for possessing a small amount of marijuana and charged her with driving with a revoked license Thursday.

After stopping Kaitlyn Mitchell-Eby, 23, on Route 133 in Essex at about 10:26 a.m., Officer Thomas Shamshak found flakes of marijuana inside a container in the vehicle Mitchell-Eby was driving.

Mitchell-Eby was not arrested, but will be fined for marijuana possession and will be summoned to court for driving with a revoked license, according to police.
