Gloucester Police/Fire: Reported BB shooting turns up no injuries

Police were called to Veterans Way at 5:56 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report that a 12-year-old had been shot by a BB gun.

When the officers arrived, they found that a group of children had been playing with Air Soft guns, and that no one was harmed.

Police received a call regarding two suspicious men in Burnham's Field at 4:09 p.m. Thursday, but the men were gone when police arrived.

At 10:17 p.m. Thursday, a woman was reportedly screaming "nonstop" on Cleveland Street.

When an officer responded, he found the woman, who said she had been "yelling" into her cell phone while waiting for a friend to pick her up. The officer stayed with the woman until the friend arrived.
