Rockport Police/Fire: Man cited for license violation

ROCKPORT — Police arrested a Bearskin Neck resident for driving with a suspended license Tuesday at around 12:45 p.m.

Lawrence Goodwin, 55, was stopped at Dock Square, police said.

A man who suffered an apparent seizure fell into the water near Pigeon Cove Wharf Wednesday, police said. He was quickly pulled from the water, then transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

Police assisted a Broadway resident who became locked out of the house around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said a burglar alarm sounded at around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday on Old Garden Road. Officers who responded, however, found the area secure.
