Manchester Police/Fire: Bicyclist struck by car

MANCHESTER — A motorist struck a bicyclist Thursday around 2:45 p.m. on Summer Street.

Police said the man who was hit did not need medical attention, and no charges were filed.

Thursday around 4:15 p.m. a Central Street man reported a scam, where someone was requesting money over the phone.

Verbal warnings were issued by police to motorists who did not have their headlights on while driving on Route 128 northbound Thursday around 7:40 and 9:30 p.m.

Friday at 7 a.m., police said a dead raccoon was reported on Deer Hill Street by a Pine Street man.
