Rockport Police/Fire: No charges filed in Sandy Bay dispute

ROCKPORT — Town police, responding to a well being check on Sandy Bay Terrace just after 8 p.m. Tuesday, came upon two people were having an argument.

Police said the situation was diffused, with no charges filed.

Police responded to an alarm that sounded on Long Beach Tuesday around 1 p.m., but found the alarm to be false.

According to police, a dead seal washed up on Loblolly Cove off Penzance Road Wednesday around 11 a.m.

Police notified the New England Aquarium.
