Rockport Police/fire: Police respond to attempted break-in

Rockport Police/Fire

ROCKPORT — Police took a report regarding an attempt at breaking and entering into a Sandy Bay Estates residence Monday at 2:21 p.m.

Responding officers found that a door to the residence appeared to be damaged, but it did not appear that any entry was made.

Officers responded and spoke to trespassers who were reported on Granite Street Monday at 2:10 p.m.

A residential alarm sounded on a Long Branch Avenue property Monday at 12:30 p.m., police said the caretaker did a check on the property.
