Rockport Police/Fire: Boat reported stolen

---- — ROCKPORT — A 9-foot boat kept near Gap Cove has gone missing, and the owner believes it was stolen.

The boat’s owner, a Marmion Way woman, phoned police Sunday at 11 a.m., to report the boat stolen from its Gap Cove location.

Police said the issue is under investigation.

In other news taken from the logs of the Police and Fire departments:

An intoxicated man was reported on Main Street Friday at 9:30 p.m.. Police found the person, a juvenile, who was spoken to and sent home.

A man in bath robe and slippers was reported to be walking along Granite Street at 11:30 p.m. Friday. Police were unable to locate him when they arrived at the scene.

An erratic operator was reported on Main Street Saturday at 12:36 p.m. Police said they could not find the motorist.

Sunday at 8 p.m., police responded to a Squam Road residence about a domestic incident. Police spoke to the people involved and said it was a verbal argument. One man left the residence for the night.

Monday at 7 a.m., a Marmion Way woman reported a large, 75-pound pumpkin was stolen sometime overnight.
