MANCHESTER — A dead seal was found on Magnolia Beach on the Manchester side at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The New England Aquarium and Manchester animal control officer were notified and handled the situation. The seal looked to have been on the beach for some time when it was found.

A vessel collided with rocks on Magnolia Beach at 3:51 p.m. Saturday. The collision caused extensive damage to the boat, which, however, was able to leave under its own power.

Loud music was reported at the Singing Beach Club at 9:43 p.m. Saturday. Officers responded twice to the scene to ask the occupants to keep the music down, and they shut the music down after the police's second visit.

A group of youths were reported to be creating a disturbance on a boat at Inner Harbor at 1:06 a.m. Sunday. An officer spoke with the youths and told them to turn their lights off and keep the noise down.
