Essex Police/Fire: Essex, city police check nudity complaint

ESSEX — Police say they are seriously investigating a public nudity complaint.

A caller notified officers that a man, nude from the waist down, was reportedly walking in the woods near Southern Avenue about 2:38 p.m. Monday, police said.

The man was reported to be in Gloucester by the time Essex police were notified, so Essex police reported the incident to Gloucester police. Officers did not locate the man, but Essex police said the two departments will work together to investigate the incident.
