Adam Sandler was back on Cape Ann this weekend.
But, no, the popular comedian, actor and film director isn't settling back in to Rockport or Gloucester for another film.
Sandler, traveling with his family, made the rounds of a number of Rockport businesses Saturday, and joined his daughters Sunny and Sadle for a walk along the shoreline.
The side trip came while Sandler and his colleagues were taking a weekend breaking from filming "Grown Ups 2," based primarily in Marblehead.
Sandler was seen frequently around Gloucester and other parts of Cape Ann in 2009, when he and original "Grown Ups" co-stars Kevin James, Chris Rock and Salma Hayek were filming for more than three months at Essex' Centennial Grove.
But Sandler and his company opted to film this year's sequel to the 2010 "Grown Ups" in Marblehead and other points south.
