ROCKPORT — These municipal meetings, open to the public, are scheduled in Rockport this week :

Today

Granite Pier Committee, 5:30 p.m., Rockport Public Library. Review proposed summer projects and budget.

Finance Committee, 7 p.m., Rockport Public Library, Brenner Friends Room. Approve committee’s reserve requests; review fiscal 2014 budget accounts and related warrant articles. Prepare for March 5 meeting with selectmen; any new business.

Open Space and Recreation Committee, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Rockport Public Library, Trustees Room. Discuss land protection progress; review Open Space and Recreation plan by section leaders; any new business.

Tuesday

Cape Ann Transportation Authority Advisory Board, 9 a.m., CATA Building, conference room, 3 Pond Road, Gloucester.

Selectmen, 6:15 p.m., Town Hall, Conference Room A. Executive session, pending litigation, legal review, updates and liaison reports; about 7:40 p.m., approval of fiscal 2014 budgets and warrant articles; place articles on warrants for Special and Town meetings; establishing landing fee for Thacher Island; review selectmen’s policy for rotating chairman and vice chairman.

Finance Committee, 7 p.m., Town Hall, Conference Room A. Discuss fiscal 2014 budgets.

Wednesday

DPW Commissioners, 7 to 9 p.m., Rockport Police Station, conference room. Review of Blizzard of 2013 damage; discussion of Long Beach seawall repairs; draft request for proposals for water needs assessment; fiscal 2013 objectives; and discussion of tickler list.

Conservation Commission, 7 p.m., Town Hall, Conference Room A. New hearing on Richard Lemay, 44 Long Beach, to build an addition to a cottage on a barrier beach and land subject to coastal flooding; ongoing hearing on Department of Public Works’ request to repair seawall and overlook within 100 feet of a coastal bank at the end of South Street; and other business.

Thursday

Planning Board, 7:30 p.m., Rockport Town Hall Annex. Meeting with owners of Blue Gate Gardens, 124 Main St.; discussion of Tuna Wharf, Old Colony Maritime at 175 Granite St., final vote on warrant for annual Town Meeting, and discussion of using fiscal 2013 money to upgrade subdivision regulations.

North Shore Technical School Council, 7:30 a.m., North Shore Technical School, Log Bridge Inn, 30 Log Bridge Road, Middleton. Discussion of fiscal 2014 budget, career and college readiness of students, post-graduate planning for juniors, school safety, new school and merger update.
