---- — GLOUCESTER — A snowbank on the corner of Haskell Street and Beach Road melted enough by noon Thursday to reveal a “stop” sign that had been considered missing for a while, police said.

Police noted illegal trash dumping off Revere Street Thursday about 9:07 a.m., after an officer saw a television that had been dumped at the entrance of Norton’s Farm, according to police.

A Green Street woman reported credit cards stolen from the center console of her vehicle during the time it was parked on Green Street between midnight and 5 a.m. Thursday, according to police.

Change was also taken from the vehicle, the woman told police. Police advised the woman to cancel her credit cards and took a report of the incident.
