GLOUCESTER — Police responded to reports of a fight in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Maplewood Avenue Thursday about 7:05 p.m., but the two-man fight had ended and one man had left the area by the time police arrived, according to the report.

The remaining man, a 51-year-old Grove Street man, declined to pursue police assistance, police said. Radio reports indicated that rthe fight began in the parking lot, and briefly carried over to inside the store.

No charges were filed.

Police found an old reclining chair that appeared to have been dumped illegally at the end of Kondelin Road Friday about 2:18 a.m.
