Essex Police/Fire: Erratic driver reported

ESSEX — A caller reported an erratic operator on Western Avenue at 7:17 p.m. on Monday.

Police found the car parked, facing in the direction of Hamilton, with no driver. Police searched the area and could not find the driver.

Another erratic operator was reported Tuesday shortly before 5 a.m. A resident walked into the police station to report the driver was heading toward Ipswich. Police checked the John Wise Avenue area, but did not find anyone.

On Tuesday, at 12:27 a.m. police found a trash bag filled with personal belongings on John Wise Avenue. Police tried to find the owner, but were unsuccessful.
