---- — ROCKPORT — For the second night in a row, residents reported solicitors going door to door throughout Rockport.

Police responded to calls at 9:47 p.m. Thursday on Marmion Way about the salesmen, who, like those reported Wednesday, did not have the proper permits. It was not clear whether the solicitors on Thursday were working for same company as those reported Wednesday.

A caller reported at 10:16 p.m. Thursday that a family member was acting strangely and making threats. Police said it was a verbal argument and the person making the threats left the Mount Locust Avenue residence.

Police responded to a Curtis Street home to help a resident who needed help getting up after a fall Thursday at 11:23 a.m.

Police assisted a resident who had locked the keys in his or her truck outside of Dunkin’ Donuts at 11:49 a.m.

At 5:40 p.m. Thursday, police assisted a motorist whose vehicle was disabled outside Cumberland Farms.

A Curtis Street resident was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester at 8:40 p.m. Thursday.
