Gloucester Police/Fire: Haverhill woman faces local DUI charge

Gloucester Police/Fire

Police arrested a 55-year-old Haverhill woman on drunken driving charges, after another driver convinced the woman to stop her vehicle on Route 133 near Exit 14 Thursday about 7:02 p.m.

Kathleen A. Jedraszek was charged with negligent driving, as well as the drunken driving charge because her vehicle was “all over the road” before another driver convinced her to stop, according to the police report.

A 43-year-old Gloucester homeless man, identified as William P. Paige, was arrested as he was discharged from the emergency room at Addison Gilbert Hospital Friday about 1:40 a.m., according to police.

Paige had reportedly been transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital Thursday about 4 p.m., after police and a Fire Department Rescue Squad reported to a Centennial Avenue home where Paige was described as “intoxicated,” unable to sit up right and having no muscle control.

Police arrested Dale Avenue resident Daniel J. Ryan, 42, on an outstanding warrant in the Walgreens parking lot on Main Street Thursday about 10:16 a.m. Ryan was charged after officers recognized him as a wanted person, according to the report.
