---- — ROCKPORT — Police and firefighters were kept busy with well being checks and medical transports before the anticipated blizzard made its way to Cape Ann Friday.
At 4:48 p.m. Thursday, police conducted a well-being check on a Clemens Street and followed with another on Prospect Street shortly after,. Both residents were fine, officers confirmed.
On Thursday at 3:51, a Haven Avenue female was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital, while at 7:30 p.m., a female Squam Hill Road resident was also transported to the Gloucester hospital.
Police assisted a Curtis Street resident off of the floor after they had fallen down around 7 p.m. Thursday.
At 2:20 p.m., a woman reported a hit-and-run accident near Station Square. No further information was available Friday.
