Manchester Police/Fire: Crosby's reports alcohol theft

Manchester Police/Fire

MANCHESTER — Police said they are investigating the theft of alcoholic beverages from Crosby’s Market at around 2:49 p.m. Monday.

Officers said the store reported the theft of at least one bottle of whiskey.

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident Monday at 6:23 p.m. on Route 128 northbound.

Police said a motorist had driven off the road by Pine Street, but there were no injuries. Cross Towing removed the car.

A Norwood Avenue resident was transported to Beverly Hospital at 3 p.m. Monday.

Police responded to an alarm activation on Tuck’s Point Road around 3 a.m. Monday. Responding officers, however, found that the wind had blown a door open, triggering the alarm.

A dog in traffic was reported to police at 1:20 p.m. in the area of Central Street, but police were not able to find the dog when they arrived.
