---- — ESSEX — Quite a bit of yelling prompted several callers to report a domestic disturbance Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. in the area of Pickering and Martin streets.
Police said the issue was verbal argument between two people, that there was no physical contact and the people were asked to leave the area.
A Western Avenue man phoned police Wednesday at 4:21 a.m., complaining that snow removal equipment was making a lot of noise.
Police said the snow removal was finished shortly after the complaint was made.
A burglar alarm sounded Wednesday night at 9:40. Police said the alarm was triggered accidentally.
Wednesday, police said a carbon monoxide detector went off at an Ice House Lane home around 3:45 p.m. Police said emergency personnel cleared out shortly after.
Police were alerted Tuesday at 10:21 a.m. to a car stuck in the snow off of Story Street. The car was towed out.
Wednesday at 10:33 p.m., police found that a Route 133 West sign had been knocked down on Main and Martin streets. The state Department of Transportation was notified.
