Manchester Police/Fire: Tractor trailer truck hits traffic lights

MANCHESTER — A tractor-trailer truck hit a set of traffic lights in the area of Summer Street on Wednesday.

No injuries were reported in the accident, which occurred around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, but there was damage to the set of traffic lights, police said.

The Manchester Electric Company was notified and is addressing the problem.

Thursday just past 11 a.m., police received reports of two suspicious men in blue jumpsuits who got into a white van the area of Flatley Avenue.

Police said the two men were employees of a water systems company and were not engaging in suspicious activity.
