Manchester Police/Fire: Police probe car break-ins on Brook Street

---- — MANCHESTER — Town police received two reports of vehicles being broken into on Brook Street on Sunday.

Police said the first call came in at 10 a.m., the second around 2:45 p.m. Police said the incidences are under investigation. Police were not able to say whether or not the two incidents were related.

Also on Sunday, police received a report of a cell phone being stolen out of backpack at the Manchester Essex Regional Middle High School field at 3:40 p.m. Police said the issue is under investigation.

On Saturday, police said there was an attempted shoplifting at Crosby’s Market on Summer Street just after 1:30 p.m. The issue is also under investigation.

Police said there was a disabled motor vehicle on the School Street ramp of Route 128 southbound. Officers had the vehicle towed at 11:34 a.m.
