Gloucester Police/Fire: No charges filed over AGH gun threat incident

Police were called to Addison Gilbert Hospital at 5 p.m. Tuesday on reports that a man told an emergency room employee he was going to get a gun after an argument.

Police caught up to the man at the Action Inc. shelter on Main Street where they learned that he did not have a gun or a gun license. According to police reports, the employee did not want to press charges.

Police told the man that, if he became unruly in the emergency room again, he would be arrested.

In other incidents:

Police and fire officials were called to Pine Street at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday on reports of a gas leak. When they arrived, they learned the leak came from a gas stove.

A Silva Court man was transported to Addison Gilbert by rescue squad at 3 a.m. yesterday after injuring his ribs in a fall.

Unlocked vehicles on White Mountain Road, Lawrence Mountain Road and Decatur Street were broken into sometime overnight. According to police reports the vehicles on White Mountain and Lawrence Mountain roads were just ransacked. A GPS was stolen from the vehicle on Decatur Street. Police have no suspects in any of the incidents.

Police were called to Enterprise Rental on Maplewood Avenue at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday on reports of a fight in the parking lot. The group dispersed prior to police arrival.

A Waterside Lane woman reported to police that her car was shot with a BB gun while parked on Bass Avenue Tuesday night. Police have no suspects.

Arrest

Frank R. Militello, 46, of 7 Hammond St., Gloucester, turned himself into police at 11:15 a.m. yesterday on three outstanding warrants. Police did not specify the charges of the warrants.
