ESSEX — A Winthrop Street woman reported to police at 4:54 p.m. Thursday that a Pickering Street dog has been chasing her dog. Police referred the issue to the town's animal control officer.
Police responded to a burglar alarm at 9:13 a.m. Friday on Turtle Back Road, but the alarm was caused by the wind blowing the front door open, officers said.
