Rockport Police/Fire: Film crew vehicle triggers call

ROCKPORT — Police said a reportedly “suspicious vehicle” heading into the transfer station off Bluegate Lane Thursday around 12:45 a.m. checked out.

The vehicle was connected with the local filming of the Home Box Office mini-series “Olive Kitteridge.”

There was a report of vandalism on Marmion Way Thursday at 7:19 a.m.; police said a mail box was ripped up from the ground.

Police said an elderly man was transported from South Street to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester to be treated for a head injury at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.
