Town Talk: School district wants your input on strategic plans

The Manchester Essex Regional School Committee has been working on the development of a strategic plan.

Now, Superintendent of Schools Pamela Beaudoin and the regional School Committee would like your feedback on three of the key pieces of the district's strategic plan. You can access the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/mersdplan.

"I hope you will take a few moments to give us your feedback on the strategic planning elements of mission, vision and core values," Beaudoin said.

The plan provides the overarching framework and vision for the organization and direction for the district and of school improvement plans. These plans are more action-orientated and strive to define what and how the school will attempt to achieve their mission and vision.

The District Improvement Plan is scheduled for completion this June, with individual School Improvement Plans to follow in the fall, Beaudoin said.

Essex folks looking to get a look at the final Town Building Feasibility Study Report by Reinhardt Associates can give it a look online.

The full report has been posted to the town's website, at http://essexma.org/Pages/EssexMA_TBC/Reinhardt.pdf
