MANCHESTER- Police reported the Department of Public Works of trash that had been dumped on Upper Pine Street Friday about 5:33 p.m., according to police.

Police told three dog owners to remove their dogs from Singing Beach Sunday about 11:27 a.m. and three more dogs Monday about 10 a.m., after receiving calls about dogs playing on the beach, police said. A town bylaw prohibits dog owners from walking their dogs on the beach until Nov. 1.
