---- — MANCHESTER — Town police received reports of a man stumbling on the commuter rail tracks off Beach Street just before 7 p.m. on Thursday.

The Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority was notified, but there were no other reports or indications that the man was found.

Police said one train that had passed through did not see anyone, and police were not notified of any train delays.

At 11:26 a.m. Thursday, police responded to reports of youths loitering and acting suspicious on Beach Street. Officers got descriptions of the youths, but were unable to locate anyone.

Friday morning at 7:35, a resident phoned police about a plastic bin being left in the middle of Washington Street. When officers arrived, the bin was already moved back from the roadway.
